KimbleCo core values: giving back

“To be truly successful, companies need to have a corporate mission that is bigger than making a profit.” - Marc Benioff, Salesforce

A company’s core values define who they are; express the foundation of its essence.  KimbleCo is implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System, (“EOS”).  EOS says, “core values define your culture and who you truly are as people.” As a full service commercial real estate firm KimbleCo facilitates every interaction and transaction from a place that aligns with each one of our core values: Integrity, Excellence, Transparency & Communication and Giving Back. Today we are focusing on Giving Back and why it is important to us.  An interesting quote to consider from our industry...

“Essentially being for-profit creates opportunity for doing greater good. And financial success as a for-profit with a social conscious carries greater credibility with your peers, potentially influencing actions of other businesses.”   Brian Walker, Herman Miller

At KimbleCo, we prioritize giving back and believe that we can make a substantial impact in our community - one that has a positive and lasting ripple effect in the wider world.  We are delighted that so many other companies share this value too.

  • We give back first from what we receive

  • We give back to those in need, to build community and to improve our industry

  • We are blessed and want to bless others

  • We want to lead by example and inspire and encourage others to give

The Minneapolis Chamber recognizes the value of giving back and has created the Minnesota Keystone Program. Originally founded in 1976, this program recognizes companies that donate at least 2% of their pre-tax earnings to the community. We are honored to be accepted as new members of this fantastic program and believe it shows a cooperative demonstration of generosity within our community that will, in turn, inspire generosity among other Minneapolis-area businesses.

A recent article by the Minneapolis Star and Tribune notes that the community’s needs are as great as ever, “Some Minnesota social service charities say they are seeing record levels of need.”

In maintaining Giving Back as one of our core values, we donate 10% of our pre-tax profits to charity and actively volunteer our time and expertise in many ways. Among our team at KimbleCo, some of our recent community and industry involvement includes volunteer efforts at WomenVenture, Junior Achievement, Feed My Starving Children, ULI, MNCREW, CREW Network, Fairview Hospice, City of Roseville and Young Women’s Alliance.

We will continue to give back to our community. If you have a charitable organization that you would like us to consider supporting, please connect with us!
